Pinolek Publishers and Readioo in collaboration – Pino's world becomes interactive
Pinolek Förlag , the publisher behind the children's book character Pino, which is very popular in preschools both in Sweden and internationally, is now starting a collaboration with Readioo, a Swedish edtech company that creates interactive reading experiences for children. The collaboration involves the launch of a series of interactive Pino books where audio and narration have been added directly to the pages of the physical book through Readioo's platform.
The interactive Pino books are designed to support young children in their language development, conceptual learning and imagination. By tapping the Readioo reading pen against a page in a book, children can activate sounds and voices directly from the book pages, giving reading a new, educational dimension.

Pino is a beloved character, especially in preschools, and the books about Pino have been used as educational tools since 2002. Pinolek Förlag has published almost 50 books about Pino and the character has also become popular short films on UR play. This format gives a new twist to Pino's world where children have the opportunity to, among other things:
- Enrich their vocabulary by hearing words and phrases that are connected to images and the actions of the story.
- Strengthen their independence by deciding for themselves how many times they want to activate sounds linked to specific words or images.
- Encourage curiosity and discovery by exploring and searching for the hidden sounds hidden in the pages of books.

The titles that will be interactive are Pino and the Package , Pino Planting in His Garden , Pino the Builder and What a Mischievous Weather Pino . The interactive books will be launched in spring 2025 and will be available via Readioo's webshop and at selected retailers. Parents and educators can already register their interest via Readioo's website to be among the first to discover Pino books that talk.
